Madina Regent Looks Stunning in Mandailing Traditional Clothing at the 2025 North Sumatra Musrenbang

Medan | Aswinnews.com – The Regent of Mandailing Natal (Madina), H. Saipullah Nasution, stole the attention when attending the North Sumatra Province Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) wearing traditional Mandailing clothing, Ampu. His presence in this cultural clothing emphasized his commitment to preserving local wisdom in the midst of the strategic development forum.

This Musrenbang discussed the North Sumatra Province Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2025–2029 and the 2026 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD). The activity took place at the Raja Inal Siregar Hall, North Sumatra Governor’s Office, Medan, on May 5–9, 2025.

A number of regional heads were also present in their respective traditional clothing, including the Governor of North Sumatra Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution and Deputy Governor Surya.

The event was also attended by high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas, the Ministry of Investment and Downstream, and the Ministry of Tourism.

Regent Saipullah arrived at the location at around 08.48 WIB, accompanied by Assistant I Sahnan Pasaribu and Assistant II Ahmad Meinul Lubis. He was seen joining other regional heads in the main lounge before the event began.

In his remarks, Governor Bobby emphasized the importance of efficiency in budget preparation by each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD). He highlighted the existence of budget proposals that were considered unreasonable.

“For OPD, don’t make strange budgets anymore. Is there a racing spark plug in the Social Service?” he criticized sharply.

The Director General of Regional Financial Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Agus Fatoni, also reminded the importance of the Musrenbang forum as a forum to absorb aspirations and synchronize plans with budgeting.

Another important agenda in the Musrenbang is the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Governor Bobby and four strategic institutions:

Central Statistics Agency (BPS) – Optimization of the Implementation of One Data Indonesia.

North Sumatra Police – Handling of Criminal Acts Based on Restorative Justice.

North Sumatra Ministry of Law and Human Rights – Handling of Legal Problems Based on Restorative Justice.

Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone Administrator (PT KINRA) and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan – Management of Workforce in Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone 2025–2026.

After attending the series of openings of the Musrenbang, Regent Saipullah is scheduled to continue his work agenda to Jakarta.
