The Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Center has officially appointed Diky Zulkifli as Acting (Plt) of the PWI Purwakarta Regency Management for the 2025-2028 period.
This appointment is based on Decree (SK) numbered 335-PLP/PP-PWI/2025 signed by the General Chairperson of PWI Center, Hendry Chairudin Bangun, and Secretary General of PWI Center, Iqbal Irsyad, dated May 16, 2025.
The SK was issued following the end of the previous PWI Purwakarta Regency management period. PWI Center considers it necessary to immediately appoint an Acting Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the organization at the district level.
This decision is also based on the results of the Central PWI Plenary Meeting and refers to the Basic Regulations (PD) of PWI Chapter I Article letter (d) and the Household Regulations (PRT) of PWI Chapter IX Articles 37 and 39.
In addition, the Decree also considers the Letter of the Acting Management of the West Java Province PWI Number 007PWI-JB/IV/2025 dated May 6, 2025 concerning the Acting Management of the Purwakarta Regency PWI. This decision also refers to the results of the Central PWI plenary meeting on May 16, 2025.
Diky Zulkifli’s term of office as Plt is limited to a maximum of six months. During that period, he has the same duties, authorities, and responsibilities as the definitive management.
Furthermore, the Decree also instructs the Plt to prepare for an Extraordinary City Conference (Konferkot) to elect a new Chairperson of the Purwakarta Regency PWI, no later than within a period of six months.
The composition of the daily management of PWI Purwakarta under the leadership of Plt Diky Zulkifli has been determined in the attachment to the Decree. Lili Kurniadi was appointed as Secretary and Asep Budiman as Treasurer. Nine other names fill the positions of Deputy Chairperson, Deputy Treasurer, and various sections.
There are a total of 12 people who are members of the daily management of PWI Purwakarta for this Plt period. With this appointment, it is hoped that the wheels of the PWI Purwakarta Regency organization will continue to run smoothly until the election of the new definitive management.
