Cirebon – AswinNews.com — The Sandya Semut Ireng Association (SSI) of Cirebon Regency has officially established its secretariat office as the organization’s activity center and a home for community aspirations.
The inauguration was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Wednesday (June 3, 2026) at the SSI Secretariat Office, Pabean Kulon Block RT 05 RW 04,
Purwawinangun Village, Cirebon Regency.
The event was attended by Cirebon Regent Imron Rosyadi, village heads (Kuwu) from Purwawinangun and Sirnabaya Villages, SSI administrators, members, and numerous invited guests.
Throughout its approximately two-year journey, the Sandya Semut Ireng Association has faced various challenges and obstacles. However, through solidarity, togetherness, and the spirit of mutual cooperation among its members, the organization has continued to grow and has now succeeded in establishing its own secretariat office.
In addition to the inauguration ceremony, the event also included charitable donations to orphans as a reflection of SSI’s social concern and commitment to helping those in need.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mayor Wakina, stated in his speech that SSI is expected to become a home for aspirations and inspiration for both its members and the wider community.
According to him, the organization is ready to support the development programs of Cirebon Regency in achieving the vision of “Teuteug lan Tutug” while ensuring that development progresses successfully without creating negative impacts within society.
“Unity and togetherness are essential so that SSI’s movements can create a tangible impact on the people of Cirebon Regency,” he said.
Meanwhile, Cirebon Regent Imron Rosyadi encouraged all SSI administrators and members to remain sensitive to the various issues faced by the residents of Cirebon Regency, whose population has reached approximately 2.4 million people.
He emphasized that SSI can serve as a bridge of communication between the community and the local government by conveying public aspirations and helping to find solutions to emerging problems.
“With this home for aspirations and inspiration, it is hoped that various community issues can be resolved through the spirit of friendship and dialogue, thereby preventing misunderstandings and strengthening social cohesion,” he stated.
The inauguration of the SSI Secretariat Office, which took place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Western Indonesian Time (WIB), was conducted in an orderly, smooth, and friendly atmosphere.
With the establishment of this secretariat office, it is hoped that public complaints and aspirations can be accommodated and addressed collectively, helping to realize the vision of a prosperous and sustainable Cirebon Regency under the spirit of “Teuteug lan Tutug.”
