When the World Falls Silent, We Await the Messiah

Every child who perishes in Gaza, every home destroyed in Rafah, and every dawn greeted by the cries of Palestinian mothers—these are wounds of humanity that should shake the conscience of the world. But why does the world remain silent? Why do so many Muslim countries seem to have lost their voice, while Western powers continue to support the occupation?

Palestine is not merely a story of stolen land or a religious conflict. It is a symbol of the eternal struggle between truth and falsehood, justice and oppression. It is the battleground where we are tested: on which side do we stand?

Meanwhile, Iran emerges as the most vocal nation in support of Palestine, despite the controversies of ideology and geopolitical interests. For some, Iran represents hope in resisting Zionist dominance and Western imperialism. Yet others accuse Iran of being part of the Dajjal’s end-times deception—a system that continues to confuse and divide the Muslim world.

Dajjal is not merely a singular figure. It is a system—a system that normalizes lies, suppresses truth, manipulates public opinion, and manufactures fear to maintain control. Do we not see its manifestation today in false diplomacy, controlled media, and powerless or biased international institutions?

In this suffocating silence, the ummah awaits the coming of Isa al-Masih (Jesus the Messiah). Not just as an apocalyptic savior, but as the symbol of true justice and light. The Prophet’s traditions promise that Isa will destroy the Dajjal, establish peace, and liberate mankind from systems of oppression. But the real question is: are we worthy of welcoming him, if we ourselves remain idle?

To await Isa al-Masih is not to surrender. It must be a call to awaken our conscience, to stand for truth even if alone, and to speak for those who are silenced. His descent will mean nothing if we still cling to worldly pleasures and fear death. For before Isa descends, we must rise—rise to the level of courage, compassion, and unwavering faith.

So let us not waste our time pointing fingers—who is Dajjal, who is Mahdi, who is Shia or Sunni, who is right or wrong. As long as the blood of Palestinian children still soaks their sacred land, there is only one question that matters:

Which side are we on?
