Nganjuk, Aswinnews.com — Riesca Melya Widiyanto, daughter of H. Hery Widianto, S.E., a member of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of Nganjuk Regency for the 2024–2029 period from Commission III, was officially inaugurated and took the doctoral oath on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. She earned her Doctoral degree (Dr) from the Faculty of Medicine at Hang Tuah University (UHT), Sidoarjo, East Java, at the Juanda Campus.
H. Hery Widianto expressed his gratitude and emotion for his daughter’s achievement. “There are no words to express other than gratitude to Allah SWT. As a parent, I feel proud, happy, and deeply moved. This is a memorable moment and a truly proud achievement,” he said.
Riesca’s journey to obtaining her doctorate spanned seven years and was filled with challenges and perseverance. Her success reflects an unwavering spirit, strong determination, hard work, and sincere prayers.
“As parents, we hope that the doctoral degree she has earned will make a meaningful impact — enhancing her own quality and also benefiting the wider community, while remaining humble,” H. Hery added.
