PPPI Sindang Evaluates Fertilizer Distribution and Prepares for Planting Season II: Ensures Farmers Do Not Run Out of Stock

Indramayu,| Aswinnews.com – Subsidized fertilizer retailers who are members of the Sub-Branch Leadership Council (DPAC) of the Indonesian Fertilizer Retailers Association (PPPI) of Sindang District, Indramayu Regency, held a coordination meeting to evaluate fertilizer distribution and prepare for Planting Season II, Monday (19/5/2025). This activity took place at the Saung Meeting Embung Jangkar, Sindang Village.

The meeting involved important elements such as the UPTD KPP BPP of Sindang District, heads of farmer groups, and heads of farmer groups throughout Sindang District. The goal is to ensure that the planting schedule and distribution of agricultural production facilities run according to plan.

Subsidized Fertilizer in the Spotlight
Head of DPAC PPPI Sindang, Prayitno Sugeng, emphasized the importance of a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of subsidized fertilizer distribution at the farmer group level. This evaluation is used as a basis for improvement so that fertilizer distribution is more targeted.

“This activity aims to assess the effectiveness of subsidized fertilizer distribution and the obstacles faced by farmers in accessing it. This is the basis for improving our distribution system in the future,” said Prayitno.

As part of the organization’s commitment, all KPL (Complete Fertilizer Kiosks) in Sindang District that are members of PPPI are required to maintain a stock of subsidized fertilizer for at least one week, according to the allocation from the BUMN Fertilizer Holding as regulated in Permendag No. 4 of 2023 Article 12 point b.

Commitment to Serve Farmers Through e-RDKK
PPPI Sindang also emphasized the importance of the e-RDKK (Definitive Group Needs Plan) system in the fertilizer redemption process. Registered farmers only need to show their ID cards to redeem fertilizer at official kiosks.

Distribution must also comply with six basic principles: right type, right quantity, right price, right place, right time, and right quality.

“We are committed to facilitating farmers’ access to subsidized fertilizers, in order to support productivity and food security in our region,” Prayitno added.

Through this coordination, PPPI Sindang District hopes to be able to maintain the stability of fertilizer distribution and support the success of the second planting season this year.
