Jombang CFD Becomes a Stage for Palestinian SolidarityCommunities and Residents Unite to Raise Support for the Palestinian People

Jombang, | Aswinnews.com ~ The Jombang Community with Palestine will hold a solidarity action entitled “Jombang with Palestine” on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The activity, which will be centered in the Jombang Car Free Day (CFD) area, will be filled with joint prayers, humanitarian speeches, and fundraising for the Palestinian people.

This action was initiated by Ahsanul Fikri, a da’wah activist and young ustaz from SDIT Al-Adzkiya’ Jombang. According to Fikri, this action was deliberately held at the CFD so that it would be easy for people to follow who use Sunday as a family holiday.

“We invite all Jombang residents to unite in voicing their concern for Palestine. We want to convey the message that the residents of Jombang, a city of santri, stand with Palestine in this universal humanitarian struggle,” said Fikri to Aswinnews.com.

Humanitarian Consolidation in the City of Santri
Fikri, who is familiarly called Kak Fikri, emphasized that the Jombang Bersama Palestina community was formed as a forum for consolidating various elements of humanitarian organizations in Jombang who are concerned about the Palestinian struggle. The goal is to unite the vision and mission so that the humanitarian movement for Palestine can be more coordinated, focused, and have a real impact.

“We want to convey a message of peace and solidarity. This action is not only symbolic, but a real form of Jombang’s concern for Palestine,” he added.

Series of Activities and Invitations to Participate
The activities that will take place throughout the Jombang CFD area will be filled with various activities, including:

• Joint prayer for the safety and independence of Palestine
• Humanitarian speeches and public education about the conditions of Palestine
• Raising the best infaq funds from the Jombang community
• The community invites participants to attend by bringing support attributes such as the Palestinian flag, Indonesian flag, scarf, sticker, or poster. In addition, residents who attend are also invited to prepare the best infaq as a form of real solidarity for the Palestinian people who are currently facing a humanitarian crisis.
