“Mr. Luki Hakim, Next Time If You Go to Japan, Ask for Permission First, Okay,”

It has become public knowledge, in the midst of society celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1446 H and Regional Officials namely the Governor and Regent are regulating the flow of homecoming and returning so that their journey is safe,
the public was suddenly shocked by Luki Hakim’s departure to Japan.

Luki Hakim went to Japan for tourism, so that he received a serious response from the Governor of West Java Kang Dedi Mulyadi (KDM) that his departure was without notification, let alone permission from KDM as the Governor of West Java, and the Regent of Indramayu Luki Hakim was in the West Java Province.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Ario Bima also stated that if Regent Luki Hakim’s trip to Japan is like he will be given a sanction of temporary dismissal as Regent of Indramayu for 3 months, based on the provisions of Article 76 paragraph 1, letters i and j, and Law number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government.

The prohibition for Regional Heads and Deputy Regional Heads is regulated in the provisions of Law number 23 of 2023 concerning Regional Government in Article 76 paragraph (1) letters i and j which in full:

Prohibition of Regional Heads and Deputy Regional Heads;
– Traveling abroad without permission from the Minister; and
– Leaving duties and work areas for more than 7 (seven) consecutive days without permission from the Governor.

The temporary dismissal sanction against the Regent of Indramayu Luki Hakim was issued by the Minister of Home Affairs, who was given the authority to temporarily dismiss the Regent of Indramayu for 3 (three) months based on the provisions of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government in Article 77 paragraph (2) for traveling abroad to Japan without permission from the Minister of Home Affairs and the provisions of Article 77 paragraph (3) for leaving duties and work areas for more than 7 consecutive days.

The factors causing the temporary dismissal sanction against the Regent of Indramayu Luki Hakim because his supporters when the Pilkada, had not yet ended and even continued with the facts;

First, the illegal institution of the Indramayu Regional Government Development Partner Committee was issued,

Second, breaking the fast for supporters/supporters of the month of Ramadan 1446 H was followed by receiving guests until late at night and even until early morning.

Third, the issue of filling the position of Director of Perumda PDAM Indramayu, BWI and dozens of Indramayu SKPD positions that were still vacant.

Will Luki Hakim’s political journey end, like when he served as deputy regent of Indramayu, like in the previous period.
