Building the Future, Afrina Academy’s Educational Mission in West Kalimantan

PONTIANAK-ASWINNEWS.COM- Afrina Academy has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting Indonesian education through the Afrina Academy Goes to Local Youth Camp program. This activity will take place on Saturday-Sunday, February 22-23, 2025, at the Melati Reading House Community Library, Kalimas Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. This program aims to provide motivation and share experiences with students in the 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) areas who have limited access to education.

In this activity, Afrina Academy collaborated with the The Local Champions community, which was founded by two recipients of the 2024 Afrina Fellowship, Muhammad Iqbal and Jamaludin.

On Friday (21/2), the Founder of Afrina Academy, Zaskia Putri, Esq, and her team arrived in Pontianak to prepare for this series of activities. As a dual-licensed Personal Injury Attorney practicing in Washington State and Indonesia, Zaskia Putri has a strong vision in fighting for access to education for Indonesian students.

Afrina Academy has been recognized through its two flagship programs, the Afrina Fellowship and the Afrina Scholarship. The Afrina Fellowship is a short-term program that supports specific academic projects, while the Afrina Scholarship is a long-term scholarship that funds all aspects of the recipient’s education. Both programs are a real solution for students who need financial support to achieve a better education.

With programs that are open throughout the year, Afrina Academy ensures that more talented students get the educational opportunities they deserve. This support is provided not only for educational costs, but also for self-development, so that scholarship recipients can continue to grow and contribute to society.

Afrina Academy’s commitment is expected to inspire more parties to participate in efforts to improve access to education for Indonesian students. With synergy between various communities and organizations, the future of education in Indonesia can be brighter and more inclusive.

Through the Afrina Academy Goes to Local Youth Camp, it is hoped that more young people will be motivated to continue pursuing their dreams, even though they are in remote areas. The strong collaboration between Afrina Academy and the local community is proof that positive change in education can start from real action.
