Sumedang-aswinnews.com – West Java Province has once again achieved remarkable success in village development.
This achievement was highlighted during the commemoration of National Village Day 2025, held on January 15, 2025, in Cibeureum Kulon Village, Sumedang Regency.
During the event, the Acting Governor of West Java, Bey Machmudin, expressed optimism about the progress made and assured that these achievements would be maintained and further enhanced under the leadership of the elected Governor Dedi Mulyadi and Vice Governor Erwan Setiawan.
Remarkable Achievements in Village Development
West Java now boasts 2,448 villages categorized as independent, a feat worth celebrating. Additionally, 2,355 villages in the province have progressed to developing status, while 58 villages are listed as developing. This marks significant progress in village development, positively impacting the quality of life for rural communities.
Even more encouraging, West Java has successfully eliminated the status of underdeveloped and severely underdeveloped villages, which previously indicated low living standards and limited access to basic services.
This success demonstrates the effectiveness of the development policies implemented, which aim to alleviate poverty and improve the welfare of rural communities.
