BENGKALIS – ASWINNEWS.COM — The Government of Bantan Sari Village, Bantan Sub-district, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, held a morning assembly in the courtyard of the village office on Monday (April 28). The assembly was led directly by the Acting Village Secretary of Bantan Sari, Mr. Samsir, who served as the ceremony inspector.
The morning assembly proceeded in an orderly and enthusiastic manner, attended by all village officials and staff members. In his address, Mr. Samsir emphasized the importance of discipline, a spirit of service, and synergy in efforts to advance the village’s development.
Following the assembly, a meeting was held with the Bantan Sari Village Consultative Body (BPD). The meeting discussed the implementation of the establishment of the “Merah Putih” Village Cooperative, which follows up on the issuance of the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2025 concerning the Acceleration of the Establishment of “Merah Putih” Village/Urban Cooperatives. The instruction was signed by President Prabowo Subianto on March 27, 2025.
During the meeting, the Acting Head of Bantan Sari Village, Gunondo, conveyed his hopes for this strategic program.
“We fully support the President’s directives through Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025. The formation of the ‘Merah Putih’ Village Cooperative is a great opportunity for us to strengthen the village economy, empower the community, and promote village self-reliance. We hope that all elements of society will work together to ensure the success of this cooperative so that the benefits can be truly felt by the residents of Bantan Sari,” said Gunondo.
He also emphasized that the Bantan Sari Village Government is ready to act swiftly in accordance with the issued instructions, while upholding the principles of transparency, community participation, and professionalism in managing the cooperative.
The Bantan Sari Village Government hopes that through the establishment of the “Merah Putih” Village Cooperative, local economic potential can be better managed, bringing real prosperity to the village community.
