JAKARTA– ASWINNEWS.COM – The Indonesian Digital Cooperative (KDI) held a thanksgiving ceremony at Wisma NH, Pancoran, South Jakarta, on Monday (01/20). The event was attended by the Supervisory Board, Advisory Board, Trustees, KDI management, and representatives of its work partners for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Overview of KDI:
Steven Sahelangi explained that KDI was established in September 2019 and currently has 82,000 members across 22 provinces and 175 regencies/cities. KDI is committed to empowering MSMEs, advancing digitalization, and developing human resources.

Key KDI Programs

1. Partnership in cattle fattening in Bogor.


2. Construction and marketing of one million subsidized houses in Cikarang, Bekasi.


3. Distribution of motorcycle ambulances for remote areas.


4. Development of the online-based Gosok application.


5. KDI Stores for supplying basic goods.


6. Participation in the China Expo attended by Luhut Panjaitan.

Support and Expectations

Muhammad Mufti Mubarok (Chairman of BPKN-RI) expressed appreciation for KDI’s programs that align with national initiatives, such as economic restructuring, free nutritious meals, and energy resilience. He hoped that KDI’s new office would enhance its role in supporting society.

Dedy Siregar (KDI Advisor) emphasized the importance of synergy in realizing Prabowo-Gibran’s mission toward a Golden Indonesia. He urged all parties to support KDI’s efforts to improve the nation’s welfare.

This event underscores KDI’s commitment to contributing to Indonesia’s economic and social development.

Opening Remarks for the Inauguration of Koperasi Digital Indonesia (KDI) Office by Afiansyah Noor

In his opening speech, Afiansyah Noor, while jokingly reminiscing, said, “In the past, KDI might have stood for ‘Kontes Dangdut Indonesia,’ but in this advancing era, KDI now represents more than just an option; it is a necessity. It aims to create a clean, sustainable economic ecosystem. We hope that through this Digital Cooperative, we can better expand business networks, collaborate with various enterprises, and strengthen a conducive network for the broader community.”

He further expressed, “With more conservative facilities, KDI aspires to provide better guarantees as an institution founded on cooperative principles. We are committed to upholding the spirit of family, transparency, and fairness in every step we take. We believe that synergy among members, management, and strategic partners can help us achieve shared goals to drive a more advanced and sustainable digital economy.”

In concluding his remarks, he added, “I hope this place becomes a productive, innovative, and collaborative hub to realize the shared vision of a digital cooperative, in line with the Prabowo-Gibran program. May we work together to pioneer digital economic transformation in Indonesia. With that, I officially declare the KDI office open.”
