Expert Staff of the Meranti Islands Regent Receives Unique Gift of Mango Seedlings from the Riau Police Chief
MERANTI –ASWINNEWS.COM – On his special birthday, the Expert Staff of the Meranti Islands Regent, Randholphi W.H., received an unusual but meaningful gift from the Riau Regional Police, Monday (21/04/2025) afternoon.
The gift was in the form of mango tree seedlings, a symbol of life and concern for the environment, which was delivered directly by the Meranti Islands Police Chief AKBP Aldi Alfa Faroqi SH SIK MH through the Head of Logistics of the Meranti Police, AKP Edi Purnomo. Also accompanying this special moment were KBO Sat Intelkam IPDA Mada Surya and Kanit III Aipda Dedi Candra S.E.
The tree seedlings were a direct gift from the Riau Police Chief Inspector General Herry Heryawan as a form of appreciation and a symbol of the spirit of greening in Bumi Lancang Kuning.
“This gift is not only a symbol of birthday greetings, but also an invitation to care more about the environment. By planting trees, we help protect the earth for future generations,” said AKP Edi Purnomo.
He also conveyed the message of the Riau Police Chief that the provision of tree seedlings is expected to inspire the community and officers to continue to be involved in greening programs, including the movement to plant 10 thousand trees and food crops as a real effort to prevent forest and land fires (karhutla) in the Meranti area.
This simple but valuable moment is expected to be a reminder that the best gifts are not always in the form of luxury, but can come in small forms that have a big impact on the environment.
