Jangkang Village Government Welcomes Team of Unri Lecturers and KKN Students
BENGKALIS – ASWINNEWS.COM – The Jangkang Village Government, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency directly welcomed the visit of a team of lecturers from the University of Riau (UNRI) who came to the village in order to release and mentor students participating in the Real Work Lecture (KKN), Friday, April 18, 2025.
The visit took place at the Jangkang Village Office and was warmly welcomed by the Acting Head of Jangkang Village, Juminah, SE, along with village officials. In a friendly atmosphere, the UNRI lecturer team discussed with the village government regarding the work programs that will be carried out by students while carrying out KKN in Jangkang Village.
The Acting Head of Jangkang Village, Juminah, SE expressed his gratitude for the trust of the University of Riau in choosing Jangkang Village as the location for KKN. He hopes that the presence of students can provide real benefits to the community.

One of the UNRI supervising lecturers said that the KKN program is a real form of student devotion to the community, as well as a means of applying knowledge in the real world.
After the meeting, the group of lecturers and students reviewed the location of the students’ residence and the location of activities during the service.
With the spirit of collaboration between the academic world and the village community, this KKN activity is expected to be able to contribute to village development and strengthen the ties between universities and the community.
