Strengthening Cooperation and Brotherhood of Regional Administrators, BAMAG Jombang Holds First Coordination Meeting

JOMBANG | AswinNews.com – The Inter-Church Consultative Body (BAMAG) of Jombang Regency held its first coordination meeting with regional administrators, Tuesday (27/5/2025), at the Jombang Diaspora Church. This meeting was attended by more than 13 participants from six work areas, and was led directly by the Chairperson of BAMAG Jombang, Rev. Hosea Hendrik Agustiono.

This meeting is an important initial step in aligning the vision, mission, and work programs between the regional administrators of BAMAG Jombang for the 2025-2030 term of office. The six regions included are Jombang City, North, East, Central, Wonosalam, and West.

“I hope that all regional administrators can coordinate and work together in implementing the work programs that we have prepared,” said Rev. Hosea in his remarks.

Synergy with the Government and Empowerment of Church Youth
More than just an internal organizational agenda, Rev. Hosea also emphasized the importance of BAMAG’s collaboration with the Jombang Regency Government, in supporting inclusive and harmonious regional development programs.

“We want to be an active partner of the local government, especially in creating a harmonious religious climate and supporting social programs and job training,” he said.

Rev. Hosea also expressed his hope that BAMAG could participate in empowering church youth, including through job training programs and providing access to jobs that are in accordance with their potential.

“Church youth must be encouraged to become a productive generation. We want to open up training spaces and job opportunities so that they are not only active in the church, but also useful in society,” he added.

Annual Work Plan and History of Inauguration
This coordination meeting also became a forum for compiling the annual work plan of BAMAG Jombang, which in the future will be used as a technical guide for administrators in each region in implementing service programs.

It should be noted that the management of BAMAG Jombang for the 2025–2030 period was just inaugurated by BAMAG East Java on May 16, 2025. The inauguration was also witnessed by the Regent of Jombang, Forkopimda, and a number of religious and community leaders.

With the spirit of synergy, real work, and cross-regional service, BAMAG Jombang affirms its commitment to being an important pillar in maintaining harmony between religious communities and encouraging social progress for the Christian community in Jombang Regency.
