Again Winning First Place, Karya Bhakti Hamlet Defends Title at 2025 Colok Lamp Festival

BENGKALIS – ASWINNEWS.COM – Karya Bhakti Hamlet, Pangkalan Batang Barat Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency has once again achieved a brilliant achievement in the 2025 Colok Lamp Cultural Festival. For two consecutive years, this hamlet has won First Place, after previously being the best at the 2024 festival.

The activity held by the Bengkalis Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office (Disparpora) is a routine agenda every Ramadan, showcasing the creativity of residents in making luminous miniatures from colok lamps that symbolize religious values ​​and Malay culture.

The other winners in the 2025 Colok Lamp Festival are:

Second Place: Penawar Laut Hamlet, Selatbaru Village, Bantan District.

Third Place: Dusun I Parit Tukang, Simpang Ayam Village, Bengkalis District.

Hopeful I: Dusun Kampung Parit, Pangkalan Batang Barat Village.

Hopeful II: Main Road of Dusun Sukajadi, Pangkalan Batang Village.

Hopeful III: Dusun II Makmur, Simpang Ayam Village.

Head of Disparpora Bengkalis Regency, Edi Sakura, gave high appreciation to all participants, especially to Dusun Karya Bhakti for its success in defending the championship title.

“Extraordinary, the spirit of the community in maintaining this tradition is very proud. Winning two years in a row shows the consistency and solidarity of the residents of Dusun Karya Bhakti. This is proof that our local culture is very alive and worthy of pride,” said Edi Sakura.

Congratulations were also conveyed by the Acting Head of Pangkalan Batang Barat Village, Marvin Samudera, S.IP.
