UAS Brightens Dawn in Meranti, Deputy Regent Muzamil Also Attends and Has Breakfast Together

MERANTAI -ASWINNEWS.COM – The morning atmosphere at the Tanwirul Muttaqin Mosque, Jalan Alahair, Tebingtinggi District, Meranti Islands Regency looked different on Monday (04/21/2025). Hundreds of worshipers from all over the Meranti Islands crowded the place of worship to attend the Dawn Study with Ustadz H. Abdul Somad, Lc., M.A., D.E.S.A., Ph.D (UAS).

This special study was also attended by the Deputy Regent of the Meranti Islands, Muzamil Baharudin, SM., M.M., along with the Forkopimda ranks, religious figures, friends of UAS, and the general public who enthusiastically listened to the sermons from the famous preacher from Riau.

The activity began with congregational dawn prayers, continued with a meaningful lecture from UAS, and ended with the isyraq prayer. In his lecture, UAS delivered Islamic messages packaged in his distinctive style: full of enthusiasm, humor, and deep advice that touched the heart.

“Every meeting that begins with Allah will end with blessings,” said UAS greeted by smiles and laughter from the congregation who were absorbed in the solemn yet warm atmosphere of the study.

After the study, UAS together with Deputy Regent Muzamil and his entourage headed to the Deputy Regent’s official residence on Jalan Dorak to have breakfast together in a friendly and family atmosphere.

“Alhamdulillah, we have a noble opportunity with our Tuan Guru, Ustadz Abdul Somad. May it bring blessings to the region and the people of Meranti,” said Deputy Regent Muzamil.

UAS’s agenda in Meranti was closed with the Tahfiz Santri Graduation activity at the Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School and a sermon at around 08.30 WIB. Afterwards, he was scheduled to return to Pekanbaru via Tanjung Harapan Port.
