Jangkang Village Government Apparatus Holds Kartini Day Commemoration Ceremony

BENGKALIS -ASWINNEWS.COM — In order to commemorate Kartini Day, the Jangkang Village Government, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency on Monday, April 21, 2025 held a morning assembly which took place solemnly in the village office yard. This activity was attended by all village officials, staff, and Linmas members.

The Acting Head of Jangkang Village, Juminah, SE, who led the assembly directly, said that the commemoration of Kartini Day was not just a ceremony, but a momentum to reflect on the struggle and spirit of R.A. Kartini in building equality and progress for women.

“The spirit of Kartini is the spirit of change. As women, we must continue to show that we are able to stand on equal footing, make real contributions, and become drivers of development, including at the village level,” said Juminah in her speech.

She also added that the commemoration of Kartini Day is a reminder that education, courage, and determination are the main keys in facing the challenges of the times. “Let us continue Kartini’s struggle by continuing to learn, be empowered, and give our best to the community,” he added.

This morning’s assembly ended with a joint prayer and a group photo as documentation of the spirit of Kartini Day in the Jangkang Village Government environment.
