Presenting Love, struggle, and betrayal, this film is not only on the battlefield, but also in bed. The audience will be carried away by the love triangle between Isa, Fatimah and Hazil amidst the chaos of war in the city of Jakarta.

The City War movie presented by Cinesurya, Starvision, and Kaninga Pictures, by Mouly Surya as writer and director. Mouly Surya will take the audience into a time machine when Jakarta was invaded again by the Dutch in 1946, amidst the chaos of the city abandoned by its citizens and leaders. There is a guerrilla struggle from young people who risk their lives and their dignity so that the newly independent Indonesian nation does not fall into the hands of the colonizers again.

Isa (Chicco Jerikho) struggles for daily life in a city that is always at war, Fatimah (Ariel Tatum) survives her inner war, and Hazil (Jerome Kurnia) insists on his fighting spirit, these three main characters display intrigue that is not only intertwined amidst the chaos of the city, but also a raging soul.

Fatimah longs for warmth from Isa, who is affected by trauma, who cannot provide inner satisfaction for his wife. Hazil, a passionate young man who becomes the outlet for Fatimah’s desires.

Teacher Isa, a war hero who has problems in his marriage, is trusted with a mission to kill high-ranking Dutch colonial officials in an effort to defend independence, along with his best friend Hazil, a handsome young man who secretly steals the heart of Fatimah, Isa’s wife.
