Resam Lapis Village Government Hands Over Donations to Grieving Selatbaru Village Residents
BENGKALIS – ASWINNEWS.COM – As a form of concern and solidarity between fellow human beings, the Resam Lapis Village Government, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency on Monday (14/4/2025) handed over donations from the community to Selamet or Eri alias Mek (Bengkel Las Parit 3 Selatbaru), a resident of Selatbaru Village, who is in deep mourning over the passing of his beloved daughter.
His daughter, the late Nur Yasmin Angel Putri binti Selamet/Eri (Mex), had previously had an accident that caused blood clots around the head tissue. This condition required immediate surgery. However, even though she had been treated intensively at the Awal Bros Hospital in Pekanbaru, fate had other plans. Yasmin breathed her last before undergoing surgery.
Also present at the handover of the aid were the Head of Resam Hamlet, Amin Harun; the Head of Penawar Lapis Hamlet, Sunarto; and several other village officials and staff. The donation was handed over in cash by the Head of Welfare for Resam Lapis Village, Mr Darmawan, to the family of the deceased.
“This is a form of our solidarity as fellow human beings. Hopefully this assistance can lighten the family’s burden a little and be a strength in the midst of this difficult test,” said Mr Darmawan.
The Resam Lapis Village Government expressed its deep gratitude for the community’s participation and sincerity:
“Thank you to all of you who have been willing to set aside a little fortune for the late sister Yasmin. May Allah SWT reward all your kindness with double your fortune. Aamiin.”
This concern is a real reflection of brotherhood in Islam and human values. May the deceased find the best place in the sight of Allah SWT, and the family left behind will be given fortitude and strength.
