Gampong Babah Krueng Mosque, holds Islamic preaching in the yard of SDN.5 Sawang
NORTH ACEH-ASWINNEWS.COM- In the spirit of strengthening Islamic propagation and strengthening ties between residents, the Gampong Babah Krueng Mosque together with donors held an Islamic Preaching event on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The activity, which was centered in the front yard of SDN 5 Sawang, took place solemnly and was full of enthusiasm from the surrounding community.
This event was also attended by the Deputy Regent of North Aceh, Mr. Tarmizi, S.I.Kom, who expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this religious activity. Also present were elements of the Sawang District Muspika, geuchik, village officials, village imums, and young men and women from various villages in the mosque area, namely Gampong Babah Krueng, Blang Manyak, Jurong, Lhok Jok, and Rambong Payong.
The da’wah activity presented a famous preacher from South Aceh, namely Tgk. Ismail Hamka, who delivered a sermon on the theme of increasing faith, piety, and the importance of maintaining Islamic brotherhood in the midst of a diverse society.
The Head of the Mosque Prosperity Agency (BKM), Tgk. Musdinur, in his speech expressed his gratitude to all the committee members, donors, and the community who had supported and made this event a success. He hopes that activities like this can continue to be carried out sustainably in order to instill Islamic values, especially among the younger generation.
The atmosphere full of solemnity and togetherness was thick throughout the event. This activity also became an event to strengthen the ties of friendship between residents from the five villages that are part of the mosque area.
