KSU Pelang Jaya Distributes Basic Necessities for Sharia Officers and the Underprivileged

Pelabuhan Dagang, Jambi-aswinnews.com- The Pelang Jaya Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU). Pelabuhan Dagang Village, Tungkal Ulu District, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province, shows its concern and actively contributes to the community by distributing basic necessities to 71 recipients. This assistance was given to sharia officers, mosque imams, religious teachers, funeral bathers, grave diggers, mosque cleaners, mudim, and the underprivileged.

This activity took place at the KSU Pelang Jaya Office, Pelabuhan Dagang Village, Tungkal Ulu District, on March 26, 2025.

The Secretary of KSU Pelang Jaya, Budiyansyah, A.Md.Kep, said that this basic necessities came from the Fie (salary) of the administrators and the Supervisory Board of KSU Pelang Jaya. In addition, the management of KSU Pelang Jaya also distributed 25 sacks of rice to cooperative members and provided monthly assistance of IDR 500 thousand to the Yasinan Akbar study group in the sub-district. Not only that, assistance of IDR 500 thousand was also given to families who experienced the tragedy of death.

The Head of KSU Pelang Jaya, Zaldi, Mst., In his speech stated that this activity was a form of concern from the management and the cooperative supervisory board towards the community and its members. He hopes that all parties can continue to work together and support KSU programs for the progress of the cooperative. With the increase in the production of the KSU Pelang Jaya plantation, it is hoped that income will also increase so that community welfare can be realized. With the spirit of togetherness, the management of KSU Pelang Jaya is committed to maintaining harmonious relations with members and the community as a top priority.
