Jombang Regent Warsubi Inaugurates Slamet Santoso as Interim Village Head of Mojokrapak

JOMBANG-ASWINNEWS.COM- Jombang Regent, H. Warsubi, SH., M.Sc., officially inaugurated Slamet Santoso as Interim Village Head (KDAW) of Mojokrapak Village, Tembelang District. The inauguration took place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Mojokrapak Village Hall, attended by Jombang Regency Government officials, Tembelang Forkopimcam, village officials, and local community and religious leaders.

This inauguration was carried out after the vacancy of the village head position due to the interim change, with the hope that the new leadership can bring positive changes to the village until the end of the term of office on March 13, 2027.

In his remarks, Regent H. Warsubi congratulated Slamet Santoso and emphasized the importance of professionalism in leading the village and reviving the culture of mutual cooperation that has begun to erode in society.

“I hope this responsibility can be carried out with integrity and professionalism. Be a leader who prioritizes the welfare of the community and advances the village with the principle of mutual cooperation,” said Regent Warsubi.

In addition to inaugurating the Interim Village Head, the Regent of Jombang also inaugurated the Chairperson of the Mojokrapak Village PKK Team, which is now led by Mrs. Slamet Santoso.

Regent Warsubi emphasized that the village head must have an innovative development vision by optimally utilizing the village’s potential.

“The village head and his staff must be able to map and develop the village’s potential so that it has high economic value. With good governance, innovation and village progress can be realized,” he said.

Furthermore, the Regent of Jombang reminded that a village leader is a public servant who must work without differentiating social status, profession, or background of his citizens.

He also invited all elements of society to unite and support the development program, in line with the vision, “Jombang Mbangun Deso, Notho Kutho”.

“Let’s work together to make Mojokrapak Village an advanced, independent, and prosperous village, and become a village that is baldatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur,” concluded Regent Warsubi.
