BENGKALIS –ASWINNEWS.COM – In an effort to create a clean and healthy environment, the Bantan Tua Village Government held a Clean Friday activity around the Al-Mu’minin Mosque, Taman Sari Hamlet, Bantan Tua Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, on Friday (01/31/2025).
The Clean Friday activity involving local residents is a joint work service action to clean the environment around the mosque. With the spirit of mutual cooperation, residents cleaned up trash, tidied up the mosque yard, and repaired clogged water channels.
The Head of Bantan Tua Village said that this Clean Friday activity aims to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean environment. “Through this activity, we want to foster a sense of ownership of the environment, create a healthy environment, and strengthen togetherness between residents,” he said.
Clean Friday itself is a routine agenda carried out in various places in the village, such as mosques, schools, and other public facilities. In addition to maintaining cleanliness, this activity is also a means to strengthen ties between residents.
The main objective of this activity is to foster clean and healthy living habits in the community, create a more comfortable environment, and increase awareness of the importance of cleanliness as part of everyday life.
Residents of Taman Sari Hamlet welcomed this activity positively. One resident, Ahmad, said that this activity has a positive impact on the environment while strengthening relations between residents. “By cleaning the environment together, we feel more concerned and responsible for the cleanliness of the village,” he said.
The Bantan Tua Village Government hopes that activities like this can continue to be carried out consistently and become an inspiration for other villages in Bengkalis Regency to maintain environmental cleanliness and health.
