Haji Urip, the owner of the place, told aswinnews.com that Agro Edu Tourism Situ Bolang was founded by 27 people, using 16 hectares of land in 2019.
“Thanks to cooperation with various parties, from the surrounding community, village government, local government and even the central government, our business has begun to be noticed by many parties,” he continued.
Agro Edu Tourism Situ Bolang has now transformed into an educational location for school children, community groups and even a research site for several universities in Indonesia.
“Agro Edu Wisata Situ Bolang has hundreds of mango trees of various types, hundreds of durian trees of various types, longan, grapes, dozens of types of flower plants, and many more,” said H. Urip, while supervising the employees who were working.
H. Urip added, in Agro Edu Wisata, there is also a poultry farm, such as birds and chickens.
The hope is, Agro Edu Wisata Situ Bolang in Indramayu can be a means of education for school children, and can provide benefits to the surrounding community so that they can get additional income.
