Kota Cirebon – In commemoration of Isra Mi’raj of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, MI Madinatunnajah Kota Cirebon held a meaningful event at Masjid Raudlotul Jannah, Ponpes Madinatunnajah Kota Cirebon, on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
The event, which started at 08:00 AM until completion, was attended by the Chairperson of the Madinatunnajah Foundation, Hj. Safiah, S.Ag., M.Pd.I., the Head of the Madrasah, Drs. Rohiman, teachers, and all students of MI Madinatunnajah.
The event was solemn and lively, beginning with the recitation of Barzanji by the students, accompanied by Hadroh music, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The little preachers (Dai Cilik) performance further enlivened the event, showcasing the students’ talents and enthusiasm for preaching from an early age.
Additionally, the event featured the announcement and awarding of winners for various competitions, such as:
✅ Proper Wudu (ablution) competition
✅ Prayer memorization competition, including movements
Wisdom-filled Tausiah by Hj. Safiah, S.Ag., M.Pd.I.
The highlight of the event was a tausiah (Islamic sermon) delivered by Hj. Safiah, S.Ag., M.Pd.I., the Chairperson of the Madinatunnajah Foundation. In her sermon, she emphasized that Isra Mi’raj is proof of Allah’s greatness and a reminder of the importance of prayer as the pillar of Islam.
She encouraged the students to emulate the character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, strengthen their faith and devotion, and balance knowledge with worship. Her gentle and wise words provided motivation for all participants to draw closer to Allah SWT and practice Islamic teachings in daily life.
Closing Prayer by Drs. Rohiman
As the event came to an end, the Head of MI Madinatunnajah, Drs. Rohiman, led a heartfelt closing prayer. In his supplication, he asked Allah SWT for:
✅ Students to be granted beneficial knowledge, good character, and steadfastness in worship.
✅ Teachers to be given patience, health, and blessings in educating the younger generation.
✅ The madrasah to always receive protection and progress in producing outstanding Islamic generations.
A deeply emotional and solemn atmosphere filled the venue as all participants bowed their heads in devotion, sincerely amening every prayer.
A Successful and Meaningful Event
With the final prayer, the Isra Mi’raj commemoration at MI Madinatunnajah Kota Cirebon officially concluded. This event not only served as a moment to remember an important Islamic event but also provided a valuable reflection opportunity for students and teachers to strengthen their faith in Allah SWT.
It is hoped that this commemoration will instill the values of faith and devotion in the students, allowing them to grow into pious, intelligent, and well-mannered individuals.
