RPJMD and RKPD Must Be Able to Answer Development Challenges Madina
Madina-aswinnews.com- The 2025-2029 Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) and the 2026 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of Mandailing Natal (Madina) Regency must be more adaptive, integrative, and able to answer development challenges.
This was conveyed by the Regent of Madina H. Saipullah Nasution when delivering his direction at the Public Consultation event for the Initial Draft of the 2025-2029 RPJMD and 2026 RKPD at the Madina Regent’s Office Hall, Paya Ploting Office Complex, Panyabungan, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
“Through this forum, I hope to be able to gather aspirations or hopes from the community regarding the priorities, targets and programs of regional development so that later commitment can be obtained from development stakeholders,” he said.
Regent Saipullah emphasized to participants to seriously participate in the activity. Because, the goal is to create a development program that can be realized according to the needs and priority scale of the region.
The 2026 RKPD, said the regent, will be the first year of the implementation of the Saipullah-Atika dual vision and mission program. Development next year focuses on accelerating priority programs, namely improving the quality of education and health, economic growth, infrastructure, the environment, food security, government governance, and public services with synchronization of national priorities and the North Sumatra Province.
“The vision of the 2025-2029 Madina RPJMD, namely: continuing inclusive and sustainable development for an advanced and civilized Madina, can be realized,” he said.
Regent Saipullah hopes that this public consultation will be able to strengthen collaboration in building a more advanced, prosperous, and just Madina.
“Let’s prioritize common interests above personal or group interests,” he said.
This public consultation is a stage in the preparation of a development work plan with the aim of capturing aspirations and needs to achieve maximum results.
Present on the occasion were the Deputy Regent of Madina Atika Azmi Utammi, elements of the Forkopimda, the Regional Secretary, assistants, expert staff, heads of OPDs within the Madina Regency Government, leaders of vertical agencies, BUMDs, heads of political parties, press personnel, and mass organizations.
