Kodim 0303/Bengkalis Spreads Flowers at Heroes’ Graves to Commemorate the 66th Anniversary of Korem 031/Wirabima
BENGKALIS –ASWINNEWS.COM – In order to commemorate the 66th Anniversary (HUT) of Korem 031/Wirabima in 2025, Kodim 0303/Bengkalis carried out a pilgrimage to the Kesuma Kesatria Heroes’ Cemetery, located on Jalan Pramuka, Sungai Alam Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Wednesday (16/4/2025).
The pilgrimage was led directly by the Chief of Staff of Kodim (Kasdim) 0303/Bengkalis Major Inf Suratno and was attended by Kodim personnel and Persit KCK Branch LII.
Major Inf Suratno emphasized that the pilgrimage to the heroes’ graves is a routine agenda in commemorating the Anniversary of Korem 031/Wirabima as a form of respect for the nation’s heroes.
“This activity is a form of our appreciation and respect for the heroes who have died defending the nation and state. They were willing to sacrifice everything for the independence of Indonesia,” he said.
He also invited the next generation of the nation not to forget the services of the heroes. “A great nation is a nation that appreciates the services of its heroes. Through this moment, hopefully we will all love our country even more and appreciate the struggles of our predecessors,” he added.
Present at this activity were Danramil 01/Bengkalis, Deputy Chairperson of Persit KCK Cab. LII Mrs. Tuti Suratno along with administrators and members, and all personnel of Kodim 0303/Bengkalis and Koramil 01/Bengkalis.
