Yusril Buang Elected as General Chairperson of HMI Ternate Branch
TERNATE, MALUT-ASWINNEWS.COM The Islamic Students Association (HMI) Ternate Branch Holds the XXXIVth Conference. After being postponed for several weeks, the Forum was resumed at the KAHMI Center Building, Ternate City, North Maluku, Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
In this conference, there were five candidates who registered themselves as candidates for general chairperson of HMI Ternate Branch, Ismail Manuputy, Abdullah Karmadi, Asyudin Lamasia, Mulyanto Soleman and Yusril Buang.
The name Ismail Manuputy had surfaced, before the opening of the conference, the former Chairman of the K.H. Ahmad Dahlan Commissariat, who is also the head of the member resources (Natural Resources and Environment) of the Ternate Branch of HMI, was finally elected as the General Chair of the Ternate Branch of HMI for the 2025-2026 period, at the conference held at the KAHMI Center Auditorium.
Yusril said, of course all HMI cadres have the hope of seeing this Association in the future much better in terms of cadreship and movement.
“For that, there are several things that need to be fixed and that lies in how to build organizational partners through internal consolidation and utilize and empower all organizational devices under the auspices of the branch,” he said.
With the headline “HMI Return” as a tool of struggle that will direct and guide the work of the organization, we will make HMI return the breath of struggle against injustice by always siding with the mustadhafin.
This can be achieved by maximizing various human resource potentials in the HMI Ternate branch, as well as reviving various professional development institutions (LPP), so it is necessary to have cooperation from all HMI Ternate branch cadres to optimize all HMI Return visions and missions.
“He expressed his gratitude to all HMI colleagues who have helped make the HMI conference a success,” he concluded.
