Kodim 0614/Cirebon City Holds TFG Exercise in Anticipation of Disasters in Cirebon City
CIREBON CITY-ASWINNEWS.COM- Commander of Korem 063/Sunan Gunung Jati, Colonel Inf Hista Harahap, S.I.P., M.I.P visited and reviewed the Tactical Floor Game (TFG) exercise held by Kodim 0614/Cirebon City, Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
This exercise took place at the Pendopo Makodim 0614/Cirebon City, Jalan Pemuda 45, Cirebon City, attended by representatives from various Cirebon City government agencies.
Tactical Floor Game (TFG) is a simulation exercise used by the TNI to train soldiers in dealing with situations and conditions that may occur in the region. Through this exercise, participants can understand tactics, strategies, and the right decision making in challenging situations.
On that occasion, Danrem 063/Sgj Hista Harahap, S.I.P., M.I.P. expressed his appreciation for the activities held by Kodim 0614/Cirebon City. He expressed the importance of this kind of training to improve the readiness and ability of soldiers in facing various threats that may occur.
“Training like this is very important to hone the abilities of soldiers, especially in planning and carrying out operations that involve many parties. In addition, TFG can also strengthen cooperation between the TNI and government agencies, as well as the community,” he said.
Dandim 0614/Cirebon City, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Saputra Hakki, S.H., M.P.M, also said, “This Tactical Floor Game training is very important to hone coordination and strategy skills in anticipating disasters. Through this simulation, we want to ensure that every personnel and related party is ready to face crisis situations quickly and appropriately.”
Representatives from Cirebon City government agencies who attended this activity also gave a positive response. They acknowledged that this kind of training is very useful for building synergy between the military and the local government, which will ultimately support the creation of a safe and conducive situation in the Cirebon City area.
Dandim 0614/Cirebon City, added that activities like this also involve various related agencies, such as the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Police, and other community elements, in order to strengthen cooperation between institutions in disaster management. “This is part of our efforts to realize maximum preparedness in order to protect the community from the threat of disaster,” said Lieutenant Colonel Inf Saputra Hakki.
The event went smoothly, marked by a question and answer session between Danrem 063/Sgj, Kodim 0614 officials, and representatives from government agencies. At the end of the activity, participants were given the opportunity to provide input and opinions regarding the implementation of the Tactical Floor Game in improving the quality of training and operational readiness of the TNI.
This TFG training activity is one of the efforts to continue to improve the quality of human resources in the TNI ranks, especially in the Korem 063/Sunan Gunung Jati area, in order to maintain security and order in the West Java region. It is hoped that similar activities will continue to be carried out to strengthen the professionalism of TNI soldiers and strengthen cooperation between the TNI and local governments. (padmO614)
