Fish Farming Case, Purwakarta District Attorney Finally Names 1 KPA Official, 1 Contractor as Suspects.
PURWAKARTA – ASWINNEWS.COM – After a long wait, the Purwakarta District Attorney’s Office (Kejari) has finally named two suspects in a case of alleged corruption in the Fish Farming Facilities and Infrastructure Procurement Project at the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Service (Diskanak) of Purwakarta Regency.
The two suspects are IR as the Budget User Authority (KPA) and DEP as a businessman or contractor.
“Today we have named two suspects, IR and DEP,” said the Head of the Purwakarta District Attorney’s Office, Martha Parulina Berliana, Tuesday (25/2/2025).
However, according to Martha, it is possible that there will be additional new suspects in the case.
“Additional suspects are still possible! The process is still ongoing,” he said.
For information, the Fish Cultivation Facilities and Infrastructure Procurement Project at the Purwakarta Regency Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Service, cost IDR 2.3 billion. The project was funded by the 2023 State Budget.
The project was carried out by CV. Mawar Indah with the Director being DEP, located at Jalan Gudang, Nagri Tengah, Purwakarta.
Meanwhile, the Budget User Authority (KPA) in the Activity was IR at the Purwakarta Children’s Office.
In its implementation, several irregularities were found in the Fish Cultivation Project, and caused the state to lose IDR 1 billion, according to the final calculation by the Purwakarta District Attorney.
Some time ago, IR admitted to the media crew that he would be a suspect in the case.
“I just resign myself to being a suspect. I have worked according to procedure. And I didn’t get anything from the project,” he explained.
