The caretaker of the AL ILIYIN International Islamic Boarding School, Abuya Achmad Yani, said that this ruwatan event is routinely held every year three times at certain times, namely the night of one Suro, ruwah (before Ramadan) and the month of the Prophet’s Birthday, attended by Jam’iyah Solawat Ibrohimiyah adults and children from various regions and gathered at the Islamic Boarding School, “said Abuya, Sunday (23/2/2025) night.
“Before the Thoharoh Sedudo Siraman Ritual, Jam’iyah visited the Tomb of Sheikh Abdullah Mursyad, which is located in Bakalan Village, Grogol District, Kediri Regency, East Java. Where he is a guardian of Allah and one of the guardians who spread Islam in Kediri. He is one of the four descendants of Raden Fatah. His tomb has become a destination for many pilgrims,” explained Abuya.

Abuya explained that the purpose of the Sedudo Siraman Ritual event was to cleanse themselves, but it was also a spiritual means for the community to express their gratitude to the Creator. And as part of the cultural heritage and spirituality that exists in every individual.
