MERANTI – ASWINNEWS.COM – Acting Regent of Meranti Islands, AKBP (Ret.) H. Asmar, led a roll call to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan 1446 H, Thursday (13/2/2025), at the Regent’s Office Yard, Jalan Dorak Selatpanjang.
In his speech, Asmar expressed his gratitude to all regional apparatuses, ASN, and non-ASN for their dedication and hard work in carrying out government duties and public services.
“Let us work together so that services to the community are better and we can accelerate development together. We ask for the cooperation of all OPDs and ASN, hopefully this year we can be even better in serving the community,” said Asmar.
He also conveyed his personal apology if during the carrying out of his duties or in daily interactions there were mistakes, whether intentional or not.
“I apologize physically and mentally. Let us welcome and fill this blessed month by increasing our worship,” Asmar said.
Furthermore, Asmar appealed to all government officials to work sincerely and wholeheartedly as a form of contribution to building the Meranti Islands Regency.
In addition, Asmar asked for prayers from all officials and the community regarding his inauguration as Regent of the Meranti Islands with Muzammil as Deputy Regent, which will take place in Jakarta on February 20.
“We ask for prayers from all of you and your colleagues so that all preparations for our inauguration can run smoothly,” Asmar hoped.
The assembly took place solemnly and was attended by various elements of the regional government. This momentum is a reflection for employees to increase their spirit of devotion, especially in welcoming the month of Ramadan.
