13th Anniversary of RRI West Java Listener Community Strengthens Ties and Supports Development Programs

Bandung – AswinNews.com — The Listener Community of Radio Republik Indonesia (KP RRI) of West Java Province commemorated its 13th anniversary by holding a gathering and iftar (breaking the fast) event at the RRI Bandung Auditorium, Jalan Diponegoro No. 61, Bandung, on Saturday (March 14, 2026).

The event, which began at 5:00 PM WIB, was attended by hundreds of community members from various regions across West Java.

Participants included listeners of RRI programs Pro 1, Pro 2, Pro 3, and Pro 4. They came from several areas, including Cirebon, Bekasi, and Karawang.

The organizing committee estimated that around 540 invited guests attended the event.

The gathering took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The program began with a communal iftar, followed by the opening of the community’s social gathering (arisan) and casual discussions among members of the RRI Listener Community, further strengthening their bonds of friendship.

Chairman of the RRI West Java Listener Community, Rohman Priatna, in his remarks congratulated the community on its 13th anniversary.

He emphasized that throughout its 13-year journey, the RRI listener community has served as a platform for people to gather, build friendships, and foster positive communication.

According to him, the existence of the listener community is not merely a place for gathering, but it is also expected to provide tangible contributions to society, including in social, economic, and environmental fields, as well as in preserving and upholding cultural and traditional values.

“RRI serves as a unifying medium for the nation through information and communication that can encourage the progress of the nation and the state,” said Rohman.

He also expressed hope that the RRI Listener Community can become an extension of RRI in delivering information to the public while supporting government programs in driving national development.

The 13th anniversary momentum is expected to further strengthen the role of the RRI listener community as a public communication partner while also reinforcing unity among the people of West Java.
