Learning materials include Days of the Week and Months of the Year, integrated with real-life activities in the school’s forest area. This approach makes it easier for students to understand the concept of time while also fostering environmental awareness.

Elinor Ward Evans actively participated in the learning process, interacting directly with students and creating a warm and communicative classroom atmosphere. She also expressed her appreciation for the students’ courage in speaking English.

The principal of MTSN 4 Langkat, Syafruddin, S.Pd.I., MA., stated that this activity aimed to provide a real and meaningful learning experience.

In practice, students were trained to construct simple yet functional sentences, such as “On Monday, we explored the forest together” and “In August, the forest looks very green and bright.” This method not only improved language skills but also fostered ecological awareness.
