Haflah At-Tasyakur Khotmil-Qur’an & Amtsilati at Madinatunnajah Islamic Boarding School Held in a Solemn Atmosphere

The Madinatunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Cirebon City held the Haflah At-Tasyakur Khotmil-Qur’an and Amtsilati (a fast method for reading classical Islamic texts/Kitab Kuning) for male and female students on Wednesday morning, December 24, 2025.

The event was conducted solemnly and gratefully, marking an important milestone for students who successfully completed the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and their studies in classical Islamic texts.

The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by tawasul and collective prayers. A sense of emotion and pride filled the venue as students took part in the haflah procession, symbolizing appreciation for their perseverance, discipline, and dedication in pursuing Islamic knowledge at the pesantren.

The Haflah At-Tasyakur was attended by parents and guardians of the students, religious figures, the Chairman and board members of PCNU Kota Cirebon, as well as representatives of the Islamic Boarding School Section (Kasi Pontren) from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Cirebon City.

The presence of these distinguished guests further enhanced the solemnity and sense of togetherness during the event.

The Head of Madinatunnajah Islamic Boarding School, KH. Moh. Abdul Mujieb Asmini, S.Pd.I, personally led the entire series of activities.

In his address, he expressed gratitude and pride in the achievements of the students who had completed the Qur’anic recitation and mastered the Amtsilati method as a foundation for understanding classical Islamic texts in a structured and efficient manner.

He emphasized that the haflah was not merely ceremonial, but a tangible reflection of the continuous educational process at the pesantren.

The success of the students, he noted, was the result of their own diligence, the guidance of the teachers (asatidz and asatidzah), and the full support of their parents. He expressed hope that the knowledge gained would be practiced in daily life and serve as a provision for future da’wah and service to society.
