This happy announcement was made directly by the Regent of Purwakarta, Saepul Bahri Binzein, on Saturday (August 16, 2025).

On the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day, Om Zein gave a gift in the form of a waiver of all PBB debts from 1994 to 2024. No need to pay them.

“To all the residents of Purwakarta that I love, this is my independence gift. Those who have PBB debts from 1994 to 2024, don’t worry anymore, don’t pay them, and forget about the fines. Just pay the 2025 PBB,” said the Regent, who is familiarly known as Om Zein.

Several representatives from the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) were present as Om Zein made his statement. He also explained that the PBB debt-free program will run from August 25, 2025, to November 30, 2025. So don’t miss out!

This special gift isn’t just for celebrating independence. It turns out that Om Zein is also following up on a call from West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, who wants all Regents and Mayors in West Java to waive their property tax arrears.
