PURWAKARTA - Aswinnews.com -- As part of the celebration of the 194th anniversary of Purwakarta City and the 57th anniversary of Purwakarta Regency, the Purwakarta Regency Government presented a spectacular dance performance of the Sri Baduga Fountain at the Situ Buleud Tourism Park on Friday, July 18, 2025, starting around 8:25 PM. The Sri Baduga Fountain show is scheduled to run for three consecutive days, July 18, 19, and 20, 2025.
Prior to this, the Purwakarta Regency Government held an anniversary ceremony and a “Tukar Nasib” (exchange of fate) event for officers and officials within the local government on July 18, 2025. This was followed by a Wayang Golek performance on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Pasangrahan Padjajaran Park.
Before the Sri Baduga Fountain performance began, a Dance and Music Group also enlivened the anniversary celebration, showcasing arts and culture from local sons and daughters that are a source of pride for Purwakarta.
Purwakarta Regent, Saepul Bahri Binzein, stated that the Sri Baduga Fountain performance, apart from being part of the anniversary series, is also a tourist attraction for the entire community. “This fountain show is free for all citizens,” said Purwakarta Regent Saepul Bahri Binzein, affectionately known as Om Zein.
As previously known, the Purwakarta Regency Government has held various anniversary events, including a Torch Parade, Mitembeyan Anniversary, Muru Indung Cai Purwakarta Istimewa, and an Expo of UMKM, Koperasi Fair, and Affordable Food held at the Pasangrahan Padjajaran Park.
