The Bangodua Village Government, Bangodua District, Indramayu Regency, held a Special Village Deliberation (Musdesus) for the Establishment of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative on Monday, (05/19/2025) in the Bangodua Village hall.
This activity was attended by the Village Head (Kuwu) and the Bangodua Village Government, Village Consultative Body (BPD), Environmental Management, RT/RW, Karang Taruna, Community Leaders, and Bangodua District Supervisors.
In his remarks, Sutarno, Spd, as the Head of the BPD and also the leader of the deliberation discussion, emphasized the importance of synergy between all parties, both elected and unelected, to support government programs through the Merah Putih Cooperative as a forum for community service.
Bangodua Village Head Agus Safrudin, provided direction regarding the election of cooperative administrators which will be carried out democratically and transparently. He emphasized that each hamlet is expected to nominate one candidate to be elected as the cooperative administrator.
The election of the Chairman of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative was carried out through a closed vote. In the election, there were two Candidates for Chairman, namely Taufik Hidayat and Iwan Nawawi, who received the most votes, namely Iwan Nawawi and was elected as Chairman of the Cooperative.
“I would like to thank you for the mandate given. Hopefully we can apply the goals of this cooperative, and I invite all people of Bangodua Village to strengthen each other and work together well,” said Iwan Nawawi after being elected.
In addition, Iwan Nawawi also announced that he had formed the management of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative.
“With the formation of this management, it is hoped that the Merah Putih Village Cooperative can further advance the economy of the Bangodua Village community,” concluded Iwan Nawawi
