AKTI Referee and Judge Training: Efforts to Increase Professionalism Ahead of FORNAS VIII NTB

Bogor, | Aswinnews.com – The Indonesian Traditional Kungfu Alliance (AKTI) held a Referee and Judge (Wasjur) Training at the Grand Pesona Hotel, Bogor, on May 10, 2025. This activity aims to increase the professionalism and integrity of the wasjur ahead of the implementation of the VIII National Recreational Sports Festival (FORNAS) which will be held in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on July 26 to August 1, 2025.

This event was attended by representatives from 15 provincial administrators (DPD) of AKTI throughout Indonesia. In addition to the training, the agenda also includes the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) and Coordination Meeting (Rakor) as strategic forums in strengthening the direction of the organization’s work going forward.

Secretary General of AKTI, Gunawan Wibowo, SH, in his statement to the media, emphasized that this activity was not only to refresh the technical knowledge of wasjur, but also to strengthen the mentality and spirit of sportsmanship in carrying out duties as match judges.

“This training is very important in maintaining professional standards. This is also part of AKTI’s overall preparation in welcoming FORNAS VIII,” said Gunawan.

Meanwhile, Ratno as the Chairperson of the Rakernas Organizing Committee and Acting Chairperson of AKTI, expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the participants who attended. He hopes that this activity can strengthen the relationship between administrators, strengthen solidarity, and encourage continuous improvement in the quality of wasjur.

“Hopefully the entire series of activities will run smoothly until finished and be able to provide a positive impact on the progress of AKTI in the future,” concluded Ratno.
