Haurgeulis, May 5, 2025,| Aswinnews.com — Great pride was once again felt by the extended family of SMPN 3 Sindang after one of its students, Suryama from class IX H, managed to win first place in the prestigious Fun Run 5 Km Medisina Indramayu event held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Haurgeulis District, Indramayu Regency. This event was attended by hundreds of participants from various regions, making it a competitive and prestigious competition among young runners.
With prime stamina and a mature running strategy, Suryama was able to conquer the 5-kilometer route and leave his competitors behind. This is not the first time Suryama has shown his quality as a talented young runner. Previously, he had also recorded various achievements at the sub-district and district levels.
No less proud, his fellow student of SMPN 3 Sindang, M. Ridho from class IX G, also achieved an achievement by finishing in the top 10. This achievement strengthens SMPN 3 Sindang’s reputation as a school that not only focuses on academic achievement, but is also serious in developing non-academic potential such as sports.
