No Viral No Justice, Because Justice Is Not Cheap

Non viral no justice is not only a sign that the role of social media is increasingly important and needs to be utilized as a medium for information, publication and communication, but also to uphold justice that cannot only be entrusted to law enforcers, because justice must be fought for tenaciously and resiliently through various efforts and attempts, one of the ways is to make viral cases or problems that hit so that they cause losses for anyone who experiences pressure, deprivation of rights or some kind of criminalization by any party, especially from law enforcement officers who often abuse their authority or power.
This means that no viral no justice is a kind of criticism of law enforcement that is distorted or distorted, so that justice cannot be expected to be obtained from equal treatment before the law, especially for the helpless little people, let alone those who do not have funds. So what is called equality before the law or equality before the law is not made a fundamental principle in the modern legal system that guarantees that every individual – regardless of social status, economy, race, religion or other background – deserves the same rights and obligations in the eyes of the law. However, the understanding of no viral no justice is exploited by some people towards the effectiveness of existing social media – WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and so on to appear as someone who wants to be known, or to display empty stories or news or even hoaxes that cannot be accounted for which can result in being subject to the ITE Law (Information and Electronic Transactions Law) No. 11 of 2008 which regulates information and electronic transactions, or information technology in general which has been amended through Letter No. R-58 / PRES / 12/2021. Its jurisdiction applies to anyone who carries out legal acts as regulated in this Law. Both those in the jurisdiction of Indonesia and those outside the jurisdiction of Indonesia in expressing opinions in trusted media.
The meaning of no viral no justice that is needed by some people is often used to build self-image, popularity or attack others by appearing continuously without caring about the negative impacts. In fact, social media – whatever its form – can be used as a means of education, awareness and building a culture of information, publication and communication more widely, because the reach of social media seems unlimited. Therefore, journalists or writers have a very broad opportunity to use social media as a means of socializing good ideas and ideas to be known and understood by many people who are not limited to accessing the presentations displayed.
In fact, the greatness of social media now seems to have overthrown the mainstream media or what was originally called print media including audio-visual media, especially those that only rely on audio alone. In short, it is not wrong if many people think that internet-based social media is now the prima donna or even the king of kings of all forms of mass media that have ever existed in the world. It’s just that to find the best way to manage internet-based social media — as a job that can provide income, not only for management costs, but also to meet living needs — it is still necessary to find a better way so that it can become a mainstay of life and a guarantee of a prosperous future.
What has happened so far is that social media workers are still supported by other fields of work. Such as becoming consultants for a number of growing social media, or writers of biographies and stories of the life journey or history of an institution, foundation to the success story of a company.
Even so, internet-based social media will eventually find a way and model of management that is no less professional in nature and infak for the economy when the cultural journey that has been taken has reached its peak point that is no longer possible to recede.
