Jombang Police Visit Plandaan State Middle School Through “Police Goes to School” Program
JOMBANG-ASWINNEWS.COM — In an effort to instill the values of discipline, national insight, and legal awareness from an early age, the Jombang Police held a Police Goes to School activity at Plandaan State Middle School, Plandaan District, Jombang Regency, Monday (4/21/2025). This program is a routine police agenda that targets students as part of a strategy for fostering the younger generation.
Jombang Police Chief, AKBP Ardi Kurniawan, S.H., S.I.K., CPHR, who acted as the ceremony inspector, said that the presence of the police at the school was not just a form of socialization, but also an emotional approach to students so that they would be more familiar with the role and function of the police in maintaining order and security.
“Through this activity, we want to be present directly among the students to provide a correct understanding of the dangers of juvenile delinquency, bullying, drugs, alcohol, illegal racing, and motor vehicle convoys at night,” said AKBP Ardi Kurniawan. “We hope that our young people will grow into a generation that is aware of the law, disciplined, and responsible.”
He also emphasized that this activity aims not only to create a sense of security, but also to provide education about social issues that can threaten the future of the younger generation, such as brawls and abuse of dangerous substances.
Meanwhile, the Acting Head of SMP Negeri Plandaan, Yeni Rahmawati, S.Pd., welcomed the initiative of the Jombang Police and expressed her highest appreciation for the implementation of the activity.
