Meanwhile, the Regent of Majalengka, H. Eman Suherman in his speech said that the presence of investment in Majalengka Regency will have a positive impact on improving the economy of the surrounding community, in addition to providing income for Majalengka.
The presence of FAW is very important to encourage regional economic growth, especially amidst the limitations of the management of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) which is still very dependent on transfer funds from the central government.
“With all the limitations of APBD management which is still dependent on central transfer funds, the utilization of regional assets is still not optimal. Therefore, I welcome the presence of this Fitra Amanah Wisata investment,” said the Regent.
Furthermore, the Regent left a message for good and sustainable communication between investors and the regional government, in order to build strong synergy in advancing Majalengka, especially in the Kertajati area which is a strategic area due to the presence of the West Java International Airport (BIJB).
“Kertajati is the future of investment in West Java. With the presence of investments such as FAW, it will provide a large multiplier effect on the economic growth of the community,” he added.
The Umroh Park Fitra Amanah Wisata project is expected to be a new magnet for religious tourism and umrah-hajj services in West Java, as well as being a driver for the growth of other supporting sectors such as UMKM, transportation, and hotels around the Kertajati area.
Meanwhile, Joni Rizal, Commissioner of Fitra Amanah Wisata (FAW), explained that there is already an MOU with the Majalengka Regency Government to invest in 9.3 hectares of land, and will be utilized by Fitra Amanah Wisata (FAW) to be developed into a 4-hectare religious tourism area in Palasah Village, Kertajati District, Majalengka.
“We plan to build Kertajati Umroh Park Majalengka along with supporting facilities and infrastructure on land owned by the Majalengka Regency Government. Meanwhile, the construction of this project will be carried out in stages,” explained Joni Rizal.
