Gampong Blang Manyak Village Government Provides Assistance to Orphans and Boarding School Students
NORTH ACEH-ASWINNEWS.COM- The Village Government (Pemdes) of Gampông Blang Manyak, Sawang District, North Aceh Regency, has once again shown its concern for the community, by holding an assistance activity for orphans, half-brothers, and boarding school students.
This activity took place on the night of 27 Ramadan 1446 H, Thursday night (27/03/2025) and was funded through the Village Fund for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
Khairul Amri, Geuchik (Village Head) of Gampong Blang Manyak said that this program is a form of the village government’s concern for children in need, especially in welcoming Eid al-Fitr.
“This assistance is given as a form of attention and concern for orphans and students who are studying at Islamic boarding schools. We hope that this assistance can ease their burden in welcoming Eid,” said Geuchik Blang Manyak.
In this emotional and togetherness event, village officials, community leaders, and parents and guardians of the children who received the assistance were also present. In addition to the handover of assistance in the form of money and Eid packages, this activity was also filled with joint prayers and religious sermons.
The recipients of the assistance looked happy to receive the assistance. One of the students who received the assistance expressed his gratitude and thanks for the attention from the village government.
“We are very grateful and thankful to the Blang Manyak Village Government for this assistance. This means a lot to us, especially in facing Eid,” he said with sparkling eyes.
The Geuchik of Blang Manyak hopes that activities like this can continue in the coming years and that more parties will participate in helping those in need.
With this assistance, it is hoped that it can increase the happiness of orphans and boarding school students in celebrating Eid, as well as strengthen the ties of friendship between residents of Gampong Blang Manyak.
