NU Megaluh Branch Management Holds Coordination Meeting for Zakat Fitrah 1446 H

JOMBANG-ASWINNEWS.COM – The Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Megaluh Branch Management through the Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah Collection Unit (UPZIS) held a coordination meeting for the implementation of Zakat Fitrah in 1446 H. This event took place on Thursday evening, March 27, 2025, at the Al-Khoir Megaluh Mosque, starting at 20.00 WIB after tarawih prayers.

This meeting aims to ensure that the distribution of zakat fitrah runs well, fairly, and benefits the community who are entitled to receive it. This activity will be attended by NU Megaluh management and zakat fitrah collectors who play a role in the management and distribution of zakat in the area.

The UPZIS Management of the NU Megaluh Branch, M. Arsyad Amrullah, S.Pd, together with Secretary Moh. Usman, invited all members and related parties to attend this forum.

“We hope that all parties will attend to facilitate coordination and increase transparency in the distribution of zakat fitrah,” said Moh. Usman.

The Head of the NU Megaluh Branch, M. Zainuddin Arif, emphasized the importance of zakat fitrah as an obligation for Muslims and how NU’s role is in managing it optimally. He hopes that with this deliberation, the management of zakat fitrah can be more effective and on target, so that it provides great benefits for people in need.

With mature coordination, it is hoped that the distribution of zakat fitrah this year can run better, reach more beneficiaries, and strengthen social solidarity in the Megaluh community.
