PT BLJ Distributes 10,000 Food Packages in 11 Sub-districts in Bengkalis Regency
BENGKALIS – ASWINNEWS.COM – PT Bumi Laksamana Jaya (Perseroda) has again shown its concern for the community by distributing 10,000 free food packages to 11 sub-districts in Bengkalis Regency on Tuesday (03/25/2025). This program is a form of the company’s commitment to helping the community deal with the increase in the price of basic necessities ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H, as well as an effort to support the policy of the Regent of Bengkalis, Kasmarni.
Director of PT BLJ, Abdul Rahman, through the Public Relations and CSR Manager, Elmiawati Safarina, stated that this program is part of the company’s social responsibility in maintaining the welfare of the community.
“As a BUMD in Bengkalis, PT BLJ has a social responsibility to contribute directly to the community. The distribution of 10,000 basic food packages is a real manifestation of our concern in supporting the welfare of residents, especially in dealing with the spike in prices of basic necessities ahead of Eid,” said Elmiawati.
Synergy with the Government for Community Welfare In implementing this program, PT BLJ collaborates with Perum Bulog to ensure that the procurement and distribution of basic necessities runs smoothly and on target. This step is also in line with efforts to maintain regional economic stability, especially in facing important moments such as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
“We do not only run a business to generate profits, but also ensure that the existence of this company brings direct benefits to the Bengkalis community. This is part of PT BLJ’s big mission as a BUMD that is oriented towards regional progress,” he added.
PT BLJ’s Sustainable Commitment As a mainstay BUMD in Bengkalis Regency, PT BLJ continues to innovate in running various social programs through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition to basic food assistance, PT BLJ is also active in education, health, and community economic empowerment programs.
“We hope that this program can help people in need, so that they can welcome Eid al-Fitr more calmly. In the future, PT BLJ will continue to be present with various programs that are beneficial for community welfare and regional development,” concluded Elmiawati.
