In Front of the National KORMI Management, the Indonesian Traditional Muaythai Association (ASMUTRI) Submits an Application for Permanent Membership
JAKARTA-ASWINNEWS.COM- The presence of the Central Management of the Indonesian Traditional Muaythai Association (ASMUTRI) was welcomed by the National KORMI Management in a limited meeting, discussing the application for ASMUTRI’s Permanent Membership into the National KORMI.
The Limited Meeting began with a presentation by Deputy Chairperson III Irno Budi Kiswoyo, SE., MH. who is also one of the founders of ASMUTRI, in the meeting room of the National KORMI Head Office The Bellezza Permata Hijau Jl. Letjen Soepeno 34 Arteri Permata Hijau, Kebayoyan Lama, Jakarta March 25, 2025.
The meeting was attended by ASMUTRI Irno Budi Kiswoyo, SE., MH, Deputy Chairperson III, Yandi Arfan, S.Pd., M.Pd, Coach, Ine Sri Rahayu, Bid. Administration and from the National KORMI Kemal Nasution Secretary General, Awang Suwanda Chair of OTKB, Perdaningrum Yuniarti Chair of Organizational Affairs, Ari Yuniawan Deputy Secretary General and two National KORMI staff.

Furthermore, Irno Budi Kiswoyo said in his presentation that Traditional Muaythai already exists and develops naturally in Indonesia, but currently there needs to be a place of shelter so that activities can be directed and have legality that can be accounted for. So that the Indonesian Traditional Muaythai Association (ASMUTRI) was formed, with the formation of the association, the next target is to have legal recognition from the National KORMI, so that ASMUTRI activities have legitimate value and recognition to be able to play a role in Indonesia.
The establishment of ASMUTRI aims to introduce Traditional Muaythai to the Indonesian people, which can arouse interest and talent in traditional martial arts that can be developed nationally and internationally, through the network owned by ASMUTRI.
ASMUTRI currently has 13 Pengprov throughout Indonesia that are ready to cooperate with KORMIDA throughout Indonesia.
“Therefore, it is conveyed to ASMUTRI throughout Indonesia, to immediately coordinate so that they can implement a sustainable Work Program in creating a fit, healthy and cheerful society together with ASMUTRI,” said Irno Budi Kiswoyo.
Kemal Nasution, Secretary General of KORMI National welcomed the presence of ASMUTRI, this adds color to martial arts in Indonesia, especially traditional sports, but there is a basic message that needs to be underlined, how ASMUTRI can provide benefits to the development of community sports in Indonesia.
Awang Suwanda, Chairman of OTKB, said that to become a member of KORMI, you must have a commitment to participate in enlivening every activity held by KORMI both at the central and regional levels.
Perdaningrum Yuniarti, Head of Organizational Affairs, expressed her appreciation for the establishment of ASMUTRI, and it is hoped that ASMUTRI can work together with KORMIDA and gradually complete all the requirements that are mandatory as members of KORMI.
Ari Yuniawan, Deputy Secretary General, also expressed support and encouragement for ASMUTRI so that in the future the benefits can be felt by the Indonesian people.
Irno Budi Kiswoyo hopes that ASMUTRI can provide its best contribution to the development of traditional sports in Indonesia, especially those under KORMI, so that it can create a Healthy, Fit and Cheerful Indonesia.
