Hendry Ch Bangun: Freezing of PWI West Java is Legitimate, KLB Did Not Have a Qualification and is Being Investigated by the Police

JAKARTA-ASWINNEWS.COM- Chairman of the Central PWI Hendry Ch Bangun emphasized that the freezing of PWI West Java (PWI Jabar) was a legitimate decision and was taken based on the authority of the organization. This action was taken following serious violations committed by the management of PWI West Java.

“PWI West Java was frozen for violating organizational rules, including supporting an illegitimate KLB that did not have a quorum. The KLB is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters,” said Hendry in a written statement, Sunday, March 23.

According to Hendry, as the legitimate Chairman of the Central PWI, he has full authority to take firm action to maintain the dignity of the organization. One of them is by appointing Danang Donoroso as Acting Chairman of PWI West Java.

This appointment, continued Hendry, aims to improve the management of PWI West Java. In addition to Danang, several other members who are considered competent were also appointed as Plt to help restore the organization at the provincial level.

“If anyone has objections, please send an official letter. We will evaluate and they could be dismissed,” said Hendry.

PN Decision Not Related to General Chairperson Position

Hendry also denied claims linking the Central Jakarta District Court’s decision regarding Sayid Iskandarsyah to his position as General Chairperson of the Central PWI. He emphasized that Sayid’s lawsuit was a personal matter because he was dismissed as Secretary General by the Honorary Council.

“It has nothing to do with my position as General Chairperson. My name was not mentioned in the lawsuit, and it was not included in the decision. Don’t twist it, this is a public lie,” said Hendry.

Zulmansyah Does Not Validly Claim General Chairperson Position

Hendry also emphasized that Zulmansyah did not legally claim to be the General Chairperson resulting from the Extraordinary General Meeting. According to him, the Extraordinary General Meeting was legally flawed because it did not meet the quorum requirements and was not in accordance with the PD-PRT PWI.

Furthermore, the notarial deed of the Extraordinary General Meeting stating support for Zulmansyah has also been reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit. The police have even issued an investigation warrant (Sprindik) against three people: Zulmansyah, Wina Armada, and Sasongko Tedjo.

PWI Jabar Dragged into BJB Case

Hendry also touched on other issues within PWI Jabar. One of them is the involvement of individuals in the KPK investigation regarding alleged corruption at Bank Jabar (BJB). This strengthens the reason for freezing PWI Jabar to maintain the integrity of the organization.

Steps to Save the Organization

As the legitimate General Chairperson of PWI Pusat, Hendry emphasized that this freezing step was not a unilateral action, but rather to save the organization.

“PWI Pusat has the right to freeze the management, appoint Plt, and fix the organization in the regions. This is a firm step to maintain honor and applicable regulations,” concluded Hendry.***
