Residents of Jalan Dahlia, Simpang Merpati Hamlet Express Gratitude for the Continuation of Road Cementing by Meskom Village Government
BENGKALIS –ASWINNEWS.COM – The residents of Simpang Merpati Hamlet, Meskom Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency expressed their gratitude and thanks for the construction of the cementing of Jalan Dahlia which was highly anticipated. The construction of this road is considered to be very helpful for the daily activities of residents, especially those who depend on the road access to go to the garden and meet household needs.
Yanti, a resident who lives on Jalan Dahlia, expressed her gratitude to all parties who have fought for the construction of the road. “We are very grateful to the Head of Meskom Village, BPD, Head of Hamlet, Pak RT, and Pak RW who have listened to our aspirations. Now our road has been repaired, this is very helpful,” said Yanti to the media, Sunday (23/03/2025).
She continued, the road that is now being cemented is very important for local residents. “We are grateful to the Bengkalis Regency Government and the Meskom Village Government for continuing the cementing of Jalan Dahlia. We really need this road, because every day we go to the garden, earn a living, and meet household needs via this road,” he explained gratefully.
Another resident, Santi, also expressed her appreciation to the government. According to her, the road that was previously damaged and difficult to pass through is now much better and more comfortable to use. “Alhamdulillah, now it is easier for us to bring our garden produce. The children are also safer going to school. Thank you for the attention and hard work of all parties,” she said.
In a separate place, the Head of Simpang Merpati Hamlet, Muhammad Kholil, said that his party only forwarded the aspirations of the residents to the village government. “We only conveyed the wishes of the community, and Alhamdulillah the village government together with the BPD fully supports the construction of this road,” he said.
Muhammad Kholil also hopes that the development program in Meskom Village, especially through the Bermasa Fund from the Bengkalis Regent, will continue. “Hopefully the development in our village will be sustainable, because there are still areas that need attention, especially road access for residents,” he concluded.
Residents of Simpang Merpati Hamlet hope that the cementing of this road will bring long-term benefits, as well as improve the welfare of the Meskom Village community as a whole.
